it doesnt cost ATT a single cent more than what they are spending on 3G access service and maintenance... just how there is no difference for a media max plan and a PDA plan... only thing that would keep you from getting 3G access is a SOC code or feature i forgot what it is now but thats all it is.. i could be wrong now but thats how it worked this is just another way for them to milk the customer... go in get the free phone that has 3G with a mediamax unlimited and wait a bit for the new iphone to to come up on ebay and the devs will surely be able to activate those as well... doing that you end up having an iphone with a base price of 69.99 a month for 450 minutes 5000 N&Ws and unlimited data and text and MMS is included in there.. that would be smart way to do it but to each his own... i can wait a bit for the new 1... but thats just my 2 cents
