I haven't been able to use the rename trick. The renamed file keeps importing back to Itunes as a regular song and not in the ringtones folder. I'm using Windows XP with the latest version of Itunes. I read on some other boards that this might be due to some "fixes" implemented on the latest Itunes update. Any truth to this? Has a workaround been figured out?

No need to worry about me anymore. My buddy helped me fix the problem. I needed to delete the original file I converted to aac. Thanks for the string anyway. This site is great!
