its worth giving a try, there are few distros out there that support amd processors... like leo4allv3 (the one i used) supports amd and iDeneb (its a newere release from my friend punk92 (layne) which is already 10.5.4 also comes to mind kalyway intel/amd 10.5.2 release... i would try using iDeneb v1, it should be ok... i wish you lived close that way we can try
