I also had this problem and was spewing when i couldnt connect. I didnt do it this way but what i did was download the youtube activation of INstaller and it worked perfectly. This has worked for others aswell. If you dont feel like deleting files on ya computer try it this way. Just add
Installer 4.0 Repository to the source list and youll be able to find it. Hope this helps.
