most of you may already know this but i didnt see it in this thread, and for people who dont read manuals (like me), this might help.
when you're in the now playing screen on your ipod, if you tap the album cover, a track meter pops up, which makes it easier to navigate thru a song. instead of having to hold the Rewind and Fast Forward buttons to get to a specific point of a song, you just drag the knob to wherever you want.
it took me so long to figure this out and the clicking on the headphone speaker "trick".
