hey guys. I have managed to get SMSd working on 1.1.4 without issue. However the first time i installed there was no need to set oct to full permissions (0755) and all worked. More importantly ALL WORKED PLUS the generic SMS icon was removed from Springboard.
Try as I might I cannot get this to disappear now! I have copied SMSD.app & replaced perms to 0755 and alos done this for MobileSMS.app. And to complete the install and permission set I have also changed the permission in Launch Daemon (/library/Launch Daemon)
BUT STILL (APPLE) SMS ICON SHOWS!!!! Is there anyone out there can provide a step by step, tried and tested route to a complete and successful install of SMSD which REMOVES Apple SMS icon completely???????????
