BTI is a good company with good reliable products. I actually have a battery backup for my 5g iPod and it has amazing life...althought its rather big.

It's rather expensive at $99 but there is high value (for me) in having a streamlined solution that doesn't dangle by the power connector making use not cumbersome at all as well as sporting very good specs as far as user time extension.
It's expensive but it looks like the best option out there as far as features. It should be available within a month from what I can gleen from the website.
