Does anyone know how to set this program up on a pc running Vista? I am stuck and I went to their website and alot of people are having the same problem (and it seems most of the answers given still don't help). So if you have installed it and have it working could you please provide a little help? Thank you!!!!

Here's what I did. Hope it works:

1- Open AirSharing :P
2- Open My Computer, click on "Map Network Drive" (top right)
3- You'll now get the What network folder would you like to map screen. Pick the drive letter you want (I picked I) and in folder type the address AirSharing gives you (I used the bonjour address http://iPhone.local:8080). Also, unclick Reconnect at logon.
4- Here's where a lot of people go wrong. Before clicking finish, click on Connect using a different user name. Put your login information in the pop up window you get.
5- Once you have your info, click finish.

Hopefully that will do it.

I used drive letter Z does not exisit on my pc so just chose at random

I tried both my Bonjour addrerss and my IP address

I am confused as to what login information you are saying to enter? I typed in the the user name that was in the "connect as" box using the default name listed (there was only one).

I am still getting "network Error" saying windows cannot access.....

Any other suggestions??????

woops I mistakenly hit edit instead of quote LOL. anyways,


On the AirSharing app, click on the gear (bottom right), there you can pick your user name and password. That is the information you need to put in Windows.

I thank u for getting back to me again. I put the password and user name in as you suggested and when I click the finish button on "map network drive" it still comes back saying it can not access the address I type in. Is there anything else I might need to do? Thank you

I sent you a PM but here it is anyways:

Try accessing Air Sharing through your web browser (use the IP address, not bonjour address) to make sure your computer is even seeing Air Sharing. If you can access it (you should be able to browse whatever files you have) then let me know. If you can't, then I have no idea.

It took me all day to figure out AirSharing (with help from this site) now I am stuck trying to setup TextGuru. Can anyone provide help? Thank you!

I still haven't gotten this to work for me. I can access it from a web page, but it will not let me finish setting up a network through the mapping feature.

Ok, I got airsharing to open the folder where the files are stored. But when I put a file in there a 50mb pdf it shows the transfer very quickly but then stays at 5 seconds remaining and never finishes. What the hell is wrong with this application?
