It's possible that you have the wrong voicemail number? Maybe the one you got from the phone is an ATT one not the correct one for your network? Check it against someone in the same country on the same network as you? Or, check it against someone on ATT to see if it's the wrong number, at least it's a step in the right direction, then you can ask your operator for the correct number.

i'm positive that i have the correct number because i rewrote, checked, and tried multiple times. followed the instructions to the teeth too. and i even tried it for the last time just now and it still gives the error. i'm assuming it must be something related to my line or account i'm in. nonetheless, i'm glad it worked for the other t-mobile users like Tavillo.
