[HELP] Sync problem with MS Outlook

Hello guys,
A very weird problem with Outlook synchronization:
All contacts in Outlook have birthdays attached, and all are synced to my iphone. But, some contacts, with no pattern, have their birthdays in iphone one day earlier!
example:
Contact "John" outlook birthday: 10/31/1973
Contact "John" iphone birthday: 09/31/1973 !!!
The reminders in calendar are all synced nicely, and all are set to remind 'On date of event'. not earlier.
Any help on this, very much appreciated!
Sorry, the correct example would be:
Contact "John" outlook birthday: 10/31/1973
Contact "John" iphone birthday: 10/30/1973
