Hey, I have a 3g phone and am wanting a certain tone edited, converted to the i-phone platform so it can go into the ring tones. Maybe the tone and then help me understand how to get it where I want... Anyways I would be willing to pay someone for this "reasonable" amount to do this (contract work if you will). Just for clarification, I am wanting to take the one track out of a song, isolate it, convert it to a ring tone and assist me installing it.

hey man if you have the song on your pc then go to Audiko and upload it there. You can then edit and re-download the clip in iPhone format. Then just add the tone to iTunes and sync easy as pie

zedgedotnet is another one. same principal, but i think zedge still downloads as an mp3 instead of m4r, which is a pita.

plus, on, both sites, you can search for premade ones. normally they already have what you are looking for.

You can make any ringtone you want using itunes alone. All you need is the song you want, choose the 30 sec clip, convert, and change file type.. all for free and you dont need anything else..

that is such a PITA.
trying to figure out the times. i prefer being able to see the wavform and cut where i want.
