Can't update folder permissions in Cyberduck
|
Hi there, I'm trying to install some applications manually on my iPhone. I'm connecting over SSH using Cyberduck and am logging in fine mobile/alpine.
My problem is that when I try and copy a folder with an application in to the applications folder (located at /var/stash/Applications.K4DN74, this is the folder targeted by the shortcut /Applications in the root) I get the error message:
SSH error: Cannot create folder /var/stash/Applications.K4DN74/MobileCHM
The user does not have sufficient permissions to perform this operation.
I've accessed the folder properties for /var/stash/Applications.K4DN74 and they are set to 755. When I set them to 777 so that all users have read/write/execute permission then press Apply Cyberduck says it is changing the permissions then they almost straight away change back!
If anyone could help me out with this I'd be really grateful.
Thanks,
Fppdes
