I'm writing my first application for the iPhone. It took me forever to get hello world to compile and run, and setup a decent makefile (never written one in my life!), but I'm finally here.

Anyway, I'm writing an application to let you remote control the iPhone's music player over Wifi. For this, I need some way to hook into the "System" music player, and pause, play, or skip tracks, the way PocketTouch does. I can't seem to find any information on how to get hold of the "System" music controller. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, but I already know about that site. I'm looking for a specific answer, and couldn't find my answer there. True, perhaps I missed it, but I'm hoping if I did, someone could point me in a more specific direction than "go check the api." Thanks, though.
