hey guys,

why is apple limiting access for iphone developers?? and is there any criteria by which they evaluate who is allowed to become a developer and who isnt?

what about getting apps to the app store? anyone know how they rate that? i thought apple was really successful with developing apps, but now i read a lot about developers getting frustrated at apple... but somehow it still seems to work... (i mean with so many apps coming out on a daily basis, and even more selling)

iphone app developers receive 70% of sales if the app is released in the app store... is there any other motivation apart from amking big bucks? -e.g. does the name of the developer get published?

sorry for asking such detailed questions, but im writing a university paper on the topic (iphone developer community), so i'd be really grateful for any (really any) insights on the topic!!!
