If you have ever done any hacking, or coding you wouldnt complain about waiting for an extra few days, these guys are going on donations you want it now, give them couple hundred dollars and maybe it will be a bit quicker...if your not paying for it....stop ******** and thank them for their hard work.

even if they released it monday, i would wait.

1. i have windows and it could take weeks to port (like last time)
2. nothing on installer is going to work on 2.0 just yet. it could take months for customize to become available. (even tho they say it works now, it could crash, we all remember customize 2.0?)
3. as of yet i have heard nothing about any menu changes that make it super worthwhile, like movable icons on 1.1.3

Hi everyone

I have a 1.1.2 OTB iphone, which I had jailbroken and soft-updated to 1.1.3 (seems like ages back, right)? I wanted to update to 2.0. I'm with ATT. Do you think I can update right away (I had "hactivated") my phone back then. I'm worried it might get deactivated if I update to 2.0.

Advice?

I don't own a mac and it seems like the jailbreak/unlock will be with pwnage tool.

obviously the end is just to kid around, why show a "happy ending" while this was so much funnier.

iphone-dev.org blog updated to say first gen iPhones can still be upgraded to 2.0 firmware and pwned.

To all the people asking about Windows - just wait. Remember, this is a hack for an Apple product so it will work first on Apple hardware.

To all the people complaining about no release yet - just be patient. These guys aren't paid and have jobs and a life outside of the iPhone. They're working very hard to do this for free!
