Something else I noticed now I'm on 2.0.1 . When I'm syncing the screen doesn't lock, it doesn't even give the "sync in progress" message and I can fully use the phone. When I open ipod I get the usual layout but there it says "sync in progress" in the top of the screen and cancel synchronisation in the bottom.

Everything is working fine, all the apps (ofcourse except the cydia ones) restored and I can make calls.

I'm on ATT and mine just asked me to set up an iPhone plan. Already had one since Sept. The Winpwn worked great and i'm syncing now. Figure I'll sort out any billing issues later if there are any.

I have a question what does the Root partition resize do in winpwn 2.4 I have no idea what it does and if I change it from the stock setting will it be better for the Iphone? any info on how to use this setting or when to use it will be very helpful thanks

Same here, does it during youtube activation.tar and then kaput...gone.

I'll wait until the program is bug free...no hurry at this point...still a great program IMHO...

If you are an Att subscriber, uncheck "activate phone" under the advanced tab while building the iPSW and dont check "You Tube activation fix" under the applications tab. Then build the iPSW. That should fix the no service problem. It did for me.

did the 2G.. now doing the 3G.. definitely need to make sure you're in DFU mode. If you don't get the installing device in DFU mode message in the tray..

have itunes open and it will say waiting for ipod.. then you'll know.

I get the frustration.. I had it too.. but, you have to hold the home button long enough until one or both of those things happen.

So I guess it's safe to upgrade to 2.0.1 now and not hurt chances of an unlock later on? I know they were saying not to upgrade until they found out more... but with a WinPWN for it, I assume it's OK now?

Guys this have so much bugs it will start building the custome then stop and shutdown the program. "I'm using the 2.01 firmaware at this moment.
I'm going to try 2.0 if not i guess i use my mac
