And if I did upgrade is it going to give me gps instead of gpsx ? Or during my upgrade do I get a nice shiny brick ? If u ,like me program or change a lot of file sets and permissions do u really want to lose all. That for a app store that offers basically all the same programs as installer and cydia on 1.1.4 , only diffrence is some aren't free which anyone could understand , but I don't want no plastic 3g iPhone so is there really a need to update , there's only like 2 apps I want but can't have , here my cry please adapt 2.0 to 1.1.4 ,

I have upgraded two iphones because I noticed the flow of new apps and upgrades into Installer and Cydia had dried up to a trickle. In the App Store there are hundreds of apps and it is clear that the devs are all working on apps for 2.0.
There are still a few key apps left to appear like Fastswitch, The Video recorder and File Browser but on the other hand there are a shed load of new ones (admittedly mostly kak). Midomi and Shazam are great fun. Cube runner is good too.
Converter turned up pretty quickly (small charge) and Speed test is good for checking your wifi connection out...etc.
I'm afraid the uncomfortable truth is that 1.1.4 is dead now. Say a small prayer of thanks and let it go peacefully into the night. It's not a Norwegian Blue and it's not pining for the Fjords. It's a dead parrot.
Two parrots on a perch. One says to the other one, "Can you smell fish?"
The upgrade process is very straightforward. You know you want to. go on. Press the button.
