Charging sound (my current & fave for the moment)

Here's a unique sound for charging, it reminds me of some 70's horror/mystery movie..

Just SSH it to your UISounds folder (Don’t forget to keep/make a copy of your stock one)

Edit: Here's another one too I had for a while....

These below are MP3's so if you D/L them there you need to covert them to a CAF..
Listen to charging too here
Listen to Beep-Beep here

The Zip attachments are already correctly named .caf files and are all ready to SSH

YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE ONE FROM THE ATTACHED ZIP FILES BELOW!!! NOT THE FILE AT WHERE YOU LISTENED TO IT!!! THEY ARE MP3's AND WILL NOT WORK...
Attached Files
File Type: zip beep-beep.zip (690.3 KB, 110 views)
File Type: zip Charging too.zip (1.10 MB, 127 views)

So you just drag the file into the UISounds folder?

Doesn't seems to work.

The latest firmware the names of the sound files shouldn't have changed. This one should be right, if all is correct it will ask you to confirm the overwrite. If not, then you either have the wrong file (must be the "beep-beep.caf" one) or the wrong file name, if the wrong file name, look for the obvious one it could be (like "charging.caf") or upload all the sounds and play them on your PC till you find the right one, then rename the file to that exact name...

It is a feature of a program called total commander. I use it instead of ssh because it runs through the USB and transfers my files waaay faster.

I had to search for a no wi fi alternative. I'm on windows

I see....

BTW...
I'm on XP and run a Airprot Extreme, I love it !!!!
It works great and I pic up my wi-fi around my whole block + some

But then I wanted/needed Wi-fi for my phone, the wifes iTouch, my AppleTV + in the near future a couple of Mac notebooks

But it's always nice to have an alternative
