I've had my iphone for a few months now working perfectly on 1.14, and decided hey lets try to update to 2.01 for some extra apps and stuff. Now that I'm on 2.01, the internet icon (little blue box with an e in it) doesnt show up anymore. I can get on my wifi, but none of the settings from wap.voicestream.com to .net variants to internet2.voicestream.com nor variants of .net or internet3 work at all. I've tried different variants, restarted my phone about 30 or 40 times now, and starting to think that the winpwn just doesnt work right. (i tried redoing the pwn, to no effect)
Also tried installing tmobile carrier pack, the internet2 version, and even the tzones hack at one point.

Any ideas guys?

Edit: also tried installing bossprefs to see what it'd say under edge toggle. no dice, it says N/A

Edit again: Tried restoring it up to 2.1, same problem.

Try restoring to a custom 2.0, and use epc.tmobile.com . Worked for me

With the exception of one person no one answered my question which was similar to yours. I spoke with T-Mobile awhile ago and they said that in a number of areas that internet, cell service, T-Zones, etc. Has been down since Sat night and that they are working on the problem.

Restoring firmware isnt working. Went through several tries. I don't know if its because it did a bootneuter as part of the pwning or not....but i know it worked fine on 1.4 with ziphone. As for the phones being down...it makes calls and such, just no edge icon or service. Gonna call tmobile and see what i can do.

if you go to 2.0.1 y dont u just go to 2.1 .. its alot better .. the only apn that should work for you is internet2.voicestream or 3 .. total internet is not the same as tzones .. u gotta uninstall all the stuff you did .. tmobile carrier bundles tzones ect .. i suggest you just quickpwn 2.1 and it should work .. bootneuter is suppose to run at the beggining to unlock your phone .. good luck

Wow, they cut off my service at about the same time I updated my firmware... how funny. It's fixed now, just had to turn it back on and set apn to internet3.
