Im Just Switched To T-Mobile And I Still Have My iPhone 3G and I Was Wondering If I Buy A Unlock Sim Card What Would Happened If I Restored It Would I Need A AT&T Account To Activate It?

I think that when you purchase a sim adapter, it makes the phone think it's a AT&T chip so I assume that restoring would not be a problem
