do you guys have data roaming turned on with the new APN (epc.tmobile.com)??

i've found that it works most of the time with data roaming off but there are times where it won't work and will only start working if i turn data roaming on.

if i turn it on, will in incure more than the $5.99 monthly charge?

any input is much appreciated.

On the T-Mobile Total Internet plan, changing the apn to the epc.tmobile.com doesn't work. Would love the speeds, but don't want a surprise bill being how much I depend on the internet on my device and want access to all apps and features on my device.

Got it too work after turning on Data Roaming.... but speeds seems to be much slower for me... will test out some more and get back.

mine works and is fast but i noticed yesterday that after about 5 mins i had to put it in airplane mode and take it off to get it working again but today its working pretty good any ideas on how to avoid this?

Hi, i just want to know if that epc.tmobile.com still works. can i use the beejive from the app store with that apn or just the web based one?

I have the tzones plan 5.99, on my 2G- 2.1 I had the cydia Tzones installled and use the wap.voicestream.com and everything works nice ( no you tube, or instant messengerrs as always )

Then, yesterday when i read that about the use of beejive in this thread, so I unistalled the cydia one, reboot, reset network settings, change the apn to epc.tmobile.com and it does not work, turned the roaming on, reset everything, and when i open safari to browse any page or weather, I get something like you need to suscribe to a cellular data plan.

Am i doing something wrong? is that APN: epc still working?

i went back and installed the cydia hack, reboot, change the apn to wap, and everything works fine. I just want to kno if it's still working or if it's over...

WORKS AMAZING i tested my edge vs the at&t 3g and happy to say mine was about a second faster

internet3.voicestream.com is the one to use for the iphone is the fastest and is pretty much the settings that blackberry uses on tmobile. epc.tmobile.com is about5 seconds slower but its great though. another thing epc under tzones has a cap on usage. i saw on another forum from a tmobile csr that new tzones will have a cap. if you are paying for the $20 unlimited leave it deal with it. trust me we are getting all the advantages that att users lose out on.
