Quick question: I understand there are difficulties cracking the 3g baseband on the new iphone, however does that effect its ability to be used on the EDGE network?

I plan on unlocking it to use on T-Mobile, which you wouldn't be able to use 3g anyways.

Would the pwnage tool be able to do this?
