I have bought a iphone 3G and I tried to use it for the 1st time yesterday. Hooked it up to itunes, downloaded the 2.1 update, downloaded it to the the iphone. Itunes recognized the phone and all seem to be fine until I put in the turbo simm along with the local simm and jeez.....the phone is gone crazy and it now only shows me the keypad with "Emergency Calls Only". I tried to go back in itunes and restore it to the 2.0 version but it still won't work. Can anybody Help?
Oh.......I am not very Tech savvy.......

Hey Marc, what happens if you take out the turbosim card? Does it work like that?
You need to know that people have various problems with sim cards including, loss of signal, no 3G etc. I had some problems with my iphone and some sim cards. Basically no one can guarantee that the unlock sim card will work perfectly for you. I have tried gevey,yessim and some other cards and didn't have luck. I had various problems. Later I've found this site and after thorough discussion with their support I bought their sim card and was pleased with the results.

And don't worry, you will become tech savvy if you continue using iphones.

Hey JP thanks. Does not work if I take out the turbo simm card. The phone is frozen. Only opens showing the Dial Pad and says " Emergency Calls Only"
I don't care about the 3G because we don't have that over here and besides I don't have the data package. OK..... so i'll have to order another Simm card and try it out with that. Will let you know how it goes.
