I want to be sure my photos are backed up that i have taken with my iphone before i upgrade my firmware. i have checked my photo tab in itunes. i have a folder with pics called iphone pictures. but that is just the pics i have taken with my regular digi cam that i wanted on my iphone. i am concerned with my pics i took with my iphone. in that folder i see a folder name iphone picture cache. i enter that folder and see many other folders. BUT i do not see any of my pics taken with my iphone. but i see an iphone database file.

so how can i be sure my pics will be placed on my iphone once i upgrade? where would i find my iphone pics on my pc.

pretty sure they are in an encrypted restore file inside the itunes folder. never backup an iphone after restore/unlock. could mess it up. just copy all your pics off the phone like it is a digital camera and load em back up later.
