CalcPaper is a good replacement for the Calculator App in iPhone. It has many functions, including Percentage, Square Root, Square (x^2), Postive/Negative. It also simulates the receipt of paper calculator, that means you can scroll through all calculations with your finger. CalcPaper can only be viewed in Landscape, and you can choose different skins. It is sold at $2.95 for the complete version, where you can store your preference, lines and avoid waiting for 10 seconds before using. ContactFlow 0.95

ContactFlow is an awesome utility/toy. It extends the pretty interface of CoverFlow to that of the contacts app. Though this app has made it to version 0.95, it still has a ways to go. There are several bugs. Some graphics need some tidying up. In the end, however, it is usable- and very cool too. The major bugs are that certain graphics disappear after tapping them, and that there are random crashes (though the crashes happen very seldom). Aside from those issues, the app flows well, as it should since that is the premise. It also supports the accelerometer, changing orientation (only between landscape positions). There are a couple of settings too, such as Displaying all contacts (displays a picture of a silhouette if no picture on file), showing E-Mails, One-Click calling and Display Order. iPlot

My viewpoint, when it came to electronics, was not always complement of my university's single-minded philosophy.  We did not see eye to eye when it came to iPods, phones, and handheld gaming systems, especially in classes.  Listening to music allows any kind of student to release his or her stress in order to stay awake in difficult classes, especially Organic Chemistry.  iPlot, developed by Markus Sintonen, gives students an excuse to bring their iPods into class, listen to music, and actually do something productive with their precious time. iPlot is the first application of its kind, because it is a graphing application that has been designed to plot multiple functions in a variety of colors at the same time.  Graphing parabolic, linear, and exponential functions are completed with the press of a single button.  Additional, iPlot contains the elements of a true graphing calculator.  It has support for trigonometric functions, Zoom, ...

Sketches

Sketches is a great freehanded drawing program.  It allows one to capture thoughts and expressions that aren't always as easily done with regular text.  It has loads of great uses from being able to draw pictures for fun and entertainment to jotting down ideas, sketches is a must have for any iPhone user.  A cool feature is to use a picture as a background; allows for great jokes as you can add messages or draw funny things on people's faces. Lots of options exist within the program: 24 colors, variable line width, 6 shapes, and 3 backgrounds.  Exporting your handiwork is a snap and can be sent as an email attachment or saved to your picture or even upload to twitter!  Fabulous ways to undo: simple undo for previous action, press garbage can to start all over or the extremely fun shake the iPhone action will erase everything just like the ...

Overall, it's a fairly simple app, however its power lies not in the interface itself, but in its associated website online. When you first load the application, it will advise you to enter your LiveJournal login ID and password. If you don't already have one, head over to the LiveJournal website and sign up for free. Once you enter these details, the application will present you with the Settings page. Here you can define things like default tags, auto formatting, and a variety of defaults.
